Your journey begins with a visit to St. Peter’s Church (1710), the oldest Christian church still in use in Malaysia. You’ll then drive past the largest 17th-century Chinese cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit China (Chinese Hill). At the foothill, you can view the historic Princess Hang Li Poh’s Well before heading into the Portuguese Settlement. The tour continues with a visit to the iconic gateway, ‘Port De Santiago,’ and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church, which are lined with 17th-century Dutch tombstones. Next, explore the “Red Square,” featuring salmon-pink Dutch administrative buildings that now house the Malacca Museum and government offices. The tour concludes with a leisurely stroll along Malacca’s vibrant Jonker Street, which ends by the scenic banks of the Malacca River.
